The LGAA (QLD) 2010 Conference will showcase the latest CivicView functionality in Yeppoon, Queensland next month.

Delegates will have opportunity to review industry-leading functionality currently being rolled out to councils and local government organisations nation-wide. A bold new interface and features including seamless PowerBudget integration, advanced online customer services, including payment services will be on display at the exhibition throughout the conference.

Hosted in Yeppoon, Queensland, the annual Local Government Accountants Association Conference is set to attract over 200 accounting professionals from across the state.

“We’re looking forward to the response from delegates – and continuing the positive momentum we’ve established in recent months with a number of new councils,” said CivicView’s Ben Cronin.

“All the evidence you need is in the product and our customer base - CivicView has successfully sustained a diversity of sites for more than 10 years,” said Cronin.

Built in collaboration with Australian local government, massive development investments have recently brought CivicView to match functionality offered by competitive giants – a strategy already reaping rewards.

In addition to new contracts with Coonamble, Deniliquin and Jerilderie Shire Council in recent months, CivicView was selected as a ‘pre-qualified supplier’ of council business systems by LocalBuy, the official procurement partner to Queensland Local Government earlier this year.

“We’re excited to be able to present ourselves as an experienced alternative that may have simply been overlooked in the past,” he said.

“For over a decade, we’ve worked hard to balance features, management trends and useability to come up with an industry-leading solution that is still accessible to councils and organisations of all size,” he said.

Developed and supported from Brisbane, CivicView currently supports a range of councils and local government organisations Australia-wide.
