Coonamble Shire Council has selected CivicView – a locally developed enterprise management solution to integrate and manage operations enterprise-wide.
Based in central-northern New South Wales, Coonamble Shire Council went to resolve increasing functionality issues with the existing Fujitsu system, selecting CivicView to improve operational and management flexibility for 30 council staff.
CivicView will provide Coonamble Shire a single, integrated system to facilitate Council’s planning & development, human, financial and information resource management functions.
“We wanted a solution that addressed the issues faced by multi purpose rural shire council” said Coonamble Shire Council’s Director of Corporate Services, Rick Warren.
Serving the towns of Coonamble, Gulargambone and Quambone, the Council has a range of customer and community services which will also be facilitated by CivicView.
“We believe CivicView offers a sound functional and affordable solution for a council of our size and purpose.”
Developed by an Australian software specialist in collaboration with Local Government Organisations, CivicView has supported a range of councils throughout New South Wales for more than a decade.
Numerous councils across rural New South Wales have recently selected CivicView including Jerilderie Shire Council, a former Fujitsu site also concerned by dwindling support services.
Coonamble Shire Council is backed by a range of services and a team of CivicView consultants deployed throughout Eastern Australia and an active client base across regional NSW.
“All the evidence of CivicView’s quality standard is in the product and our customer base. CivicView is industry-specialised, it’s trusted and has continued to drive the long-term performance of organisations across the country. We have customers that have continued to realise objectives and growth using CivicView for more than a decade,” said Ben Cronin.
